Draco Dormiens Nunquam Titillandus

Today marks eighteen years to the day that the bespectacled boy-who-lived, discovered who he was, and there has no looking back ever-since!
It has also been a year to the release of the final installment of the cinematic counterpart also came to an epic close. It was a rather emotional moment, causing me to write this post.

But the years have passed, and we have been made to believe that Harry is now grown up, married and says goodbye to his children on Platform Nine and Three Quarters. Somewhere deep inside, there are some of us who are still in a vacuum, uninterested to move on – from the eleven year old Harry and his outlandish adventures.

J.K. Rowling said and I quote “The stories we love best live in us forever. So whether you come back by page or by the big screen, Hogwarts will always be there to welcome you home.”

Her stories will indeed stay with me, because there is so much that they gave me.

Happy Birthday, Harry Potter.
