It’s that day of the year. That day where all households in India get bustling to celebrate siblings. From when I was a child, its has been all a rather exciting affair to me. Sisters tie a thread around their brother’s hands, get gifts, the food is great – whats not to love!
I’ve been a little less fortunate when it came to brothers. I have none that share my blood, but that hasn’t stopped me from sending bunches of couriers and letters to my cousins all around the world at this time of the year.
It’s a wonderful relation to celebrate. Here’s to all my bhais and dadas – wherever they are today. May they be blessed.
