4 | 12: Twelve Places I Stepped In

I wouldn’t really say that this has been the most exciting of years from the travel point of view. Something I intend to make up for next year. But more on that later…
Although I cannot be more thankful for my London trip this February and all the excitement that came with it. It was most certainly the highlight. But here is my list of twelve captivating places I visited in twenty-twelve:

The Bimmah Sinkhole, Sharqiyah Region, Oman

The astronomy show at Calcutta’s renown Birla Planetarium

The Calcutta Book Fair with Ma & Baba

The National Museum in Delhi with Akshay

The majestic Royal Opera House, Oman

St. Paul’s Cathedral.
We weren’t allowed to photograph, but I’m glad Denis did.
Mind blown away.

The revamped Madame Tussauds, London.

The son et lumière show at the Victoria Memorial Grounds in Calcutta

Wadi Dayqah Dam, Quriyat

The breathtaking British Airways headquarters at Waterside

The white cliffs of Dover. Sigh.
The newly discovered Sifah beach, Oman
